Rehearsal ("we", "our", or "the app") is a band rehearsal scheduling app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Rehearsal:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and profile photo (provided via Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In).
• Band data: Band names, member lists, invite codes, and scheduling session data you create within the app.
• Availability data: Day and time availability you submit for rehearsal scheduling.
• Device information: Device type and operating system version for app compatibility.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To enable band creation, member invitations, and rehearsal scheduling.
• To find optimal rehearsal times based on member availability.
• To process subscription purchases via Apple's in-app purchase system.
• To add confirmed rehearsals to your device calendar (only with your permission).

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication). Profile photos are stored in Firebase Storage. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Your availability and band data is only visible to other members of the same band. We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, and file storage.
• Apple StoreKit: Subscription management and payment processing.
• OpenAI API: Natural language processing for text-based availability input.

5. Calendar Access

Rehearsal requests access to your device calendar solely to add confirmed rehearsal events. We do not read or collect any existing calendar data.

6. Camera & Microphone

Camera access is used only to take profile or band photos. Microphone access is used only for voice-based availability input. We do not record, store, or transmit audio or video data beyond the immediate use.

7. Subscriptions

Rehearsal Pro subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's in-app purchase system. We do not collect or store any payment or financial information.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us. When you leave a band, your availability data for that band is removed.

9. Children's Privacy

Rehearsal is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
